Conversion folder

Conversion is done in single folders. The folder name determines the kind of conversion (file type, color space, resolution)

With additional parameters allow for special settings.

Subfolders

Subfolders created automatically . The original and the converted files are stored in the named subfolders.

ICC-Profiles

Color conversion can be done with specific ICC-Profiles simply by copying the ICC-Profiles into the appropriate subfolders.
imageConvert automatically recognizes the ICC-profiles.

The kind of ICC profile tagging of the converted image file can be defined (embedded, reference, omit).

The use of ICC profiles is logged.

ICC profiles tagged on the original image are recognized, used and logged.

Error handling

If parameters are wrong or missed a file called "Parametererror" is written into the folder, containing a description of possible parameters .

If an error occurs during conversion, the belonging error message is logged in a file named "filename.err". This file as well as the original image file are stored in a subfolder named "-error"
