PDF preflight with HELIOS PDF HandShake and pdfInspektor3 CLI

HELIOS PDF HandShake UB includes the pdfInspektor3 CLI from callas software.
PDFpreflight offers a very comfortable way of using this PDF preflight capability.

PDFpreflight can be used for PDF preflight in a HELIOS hot-folder mechanism (Script Server), as printer script with a HELIOS Create PDF print-queue or as FlowView Pro TimeScript.

The different check results of pdfInspektor3 CLI (success, error, warning, info) are supported and the files are stored in corresponding sub-folders. The names of the sub-folder can be customized.

PDF/X conversion is also supported. You can define a name extension for the PDF/X file.

The configuration is done with HELIOS Admin or FlowView Pro from Macademy.
Alternatively a configuration file can be used in this active folder. Also a proof profile can be copied to this folder and is used directly.

For best integration of the PDF preflight into your workflow PDFpreflight has a lot of options:

• use as HELIOS ScriptServer hot-folder
• use as HELIOS Create PDF Server printer-script
• use as FlowView Pro TimeScript
  (hot-folder without HELIOS ImageServer)
• definition of sub-folder names
• overwrite existing files or add counter to file names.
• activate HELIOS file events for the different files to use the sub-folders as another hot-folder
• delete the original file or not
• create a status report as text file or in HELIOS logs
• create proof report as PDF-comments, PDF-masks, PDF-layer or text file
• choose report language
• create name extension for PDF/X files
• use HELIOS Admin or FlowView Pro for administration
• local configuration file and proof profile supported

Installation of PDFpreflight is very easy and can be done by the system administrator

Price

PDFpreflight 2.0 has a price of 390,- Euro + VAT
Customers in the EU should provide there VAT-ID with the order.
Than we can deduct the VAT from your invoice.
